Everybody’s talking about Witness Number 3
If you’ve been thirsting for a new crime drama to fill up your weeknights, the brand-new Witness Number 3 is the answer to your prayers. If, like us, you can’t get enough of a good old-fashioned thriller, the new series on 5 is all about a woman who finds herself entangled in a murder trial, so if that sounds like it’s up your alley, keep reading to find out everything we know so far about the show!

What is Witness Number 3 about?
Jodie, played by Nina Toussaint-White (Bodyguard, The Sister), is a single mother whose life is completely distorted when she becomes a witness in a murder trial. Owner of a hairdressing business, Jodie is forced into the trial after she witnesses something seemingly un-notable, which ultimately turns out to be quite the opposite. Soon, Jodie begins to receive “a series of strange text messages, memes and links to her phone. As her paranoia grows, a local gang mounts a terrifying threat against Jodie and her young son Kyle.”
The event that sets the show in motion sees Jodie witness two men walking past the window of her salon. Upon learning of the case, she puts herself forward as a witness, unbeknownst of the trouble it would cause her. In an effort to protect her identity, detectives only refer to her as 'witness number 3', and Jodie soon realises that the killer is part of a dangerous gang that are out to silence her by any means necessary.
