How to watch Love Life season 2 for free
If you missed the first series set in the Big Apple, fret not, you can binge it all right now on BBC iPlayer! And we’ve got good news, the second series is out now!
What happened in Love Life season 1?
The first season of the Anthology series followed Anna Kendrick’s character Darby and her complicated love journey from beginning to end. It was a heartfelt series we all needed during lockdown, and the comedic writing was much appreciated. With 10-half hour episodes created and written by Sam Boyd, we get to know Darby Carter in all her glory during the period of her post-grad twenties and into her thirties.
What to expect from Love Life season 2
The new season, much like Bridgerton, will switch focus to a different character. This time, Marcus Watkins (William Jackson Harper) will be the main protagonist, and as a recently divorced man he is struggling to wrap his head around dating apps.
HBO Max said "As Marcus Watkins enters his 30s freshly divorced, he’s as lost as ever. Forced to rediscover his identity as a single Black man in New York, Marcus must learn to find love again."
Where can I watch it?
On 6th May and onward you’ll be able to binge the HBO Max series two for free on BBC iPlayer! PLUS episodes will also be released weekly on BBC One.
